Overview（概述）
Thisprocedurefusestwobonesinthefoot.Thesearethefirstmetatarsalandthemedialcuneiform.Thisprocedurecanbeusedtotreatarthritis.Itcanbeusedaspartofabunionectomy.Itmayalsobeusedaspartofaproceduretocorrectaflatfoot.
这个手术将脚上的两块骨头即第一跖骨和内侧楔骨融合在一起。这个手术可以用来治疗关节炎。也可以用作拇囊炎切除术的一部分。它还可以作为矫正扁平足手术的一部分。
Preparation（准备）
Inpreparationfortheprocedure,youaregivenanesthesia.Anincisionismadeinyourskintoexposethetarsometatarsaljoint.Thisiswherethefirstmetatarsalmeetsthemedialcuneiform.
在准备手术时，先进行麻醉。医生在病人的皮肤上做一个切口来暴露跗跖关节。这是第一跖骨同内侧楔骨构成关节的地方。
PreparingtheBones（准备骨头）
Thesurgeoncarefullyseparatesthesebones.Thecartilageisremovedfromtheendsofthebones.
外科医生小心地将这些骨头分开，将骨端的软骨去除。
SecuringtheBones（固定骨头）
Thesurgeonstabilizestheboneswithametalplateandscrews.Thisholdstheminacorrectedposition.Thesurgeonmayalsoaddbonegraftorstemcellstothesite.Overtimetheseboneswillheal,creatingafusion.
外科医生用金属板和螺钉固定骨头，使他们维持于正确的位置。外科医生也可以在此加入骨移植物或干细胞。随着时间的推移，这些骨头会愈合，即融合。
EndofProcedureandAftercare（手术结束和术后护理）
Whentheprocedureis 手术完成后，关闭切口。包扎患脚，用石膏或夹板固定。病人经过短时间的监护，就可以回家。手术后患脚暂时避免负重。医生会给具体的指示，以帮助恢复。
